Visual Rhetoric: “F.E.A.R. First Encounter Assault Recon”

In Visual Rhetoric, we will investigate the relation between the player, the camera — as in the level of contiguity — mode, medium, contexture, and occasionally, the element of nostalgia, and how technological aesthetics can affect the said element and in what respect.

First in the series involves one of our longtime favorites, the Craig Hubbard masterwork, “F.E.A.R. First Encounter Assault Recon.” So, without any further ado, let us set an end to language and enter the domain of the vision.
